Location, location, location!!

The Mayan Princess is right in the middle of Mustang Island, with Port Aransas a ten-minute drive to the North and North Padre Island just minutes to the South. Corpus Christi is right over the JFK Causeway Bridge and Rockport is just a ferry ride away.

Port Aransas

…has tons of shopping, dining and adventures to be had. Rent a golf cart and cruise around town, or hop on a charter boat see the sites, like the Lydia Ann Lighthouse. Take a birding tour on the Warf Cat or head over the uninhabited St. Joe Island, or just hang out at The Jetty and see what sails by next.

North Padre Island

Up and coming North Padre Island has lots going on. From the new Schltterbahn water park to the beautiful sunsets from Doc’s Seafood and Steaks, there’s something for everyone. There’s put-put for the kids and unique dining experiences for Mom and Dad.

And, head south for a few minutes and you’ll be at the longest stretch of undeveloped barrier island in the world: The Padre Island National Seashore. The park protects 70 miles of coastline, dunes, prairies, and wind tidal flats teeming with life.

Corpus Christi

…is just across The JFK Causeway Bridge from North Padre Island, with two malls and major restaurants along South Padre Island Drive which is just a few minutes from Downtown Corpus Christi, with the the Texas State Aquarium, the USS Lexington and even a 2-story Whataburger!

Rockport & Fulton

…is at the other end of island after a short ferry ride to Aransas Pass. Rockport/Fulton has all sorts of cool things to do and see, like the Fulton Mansion, The Texas Maritime Museum and The Aquarium at Rockport Harbor. Then, there are some unique eats as well, like The Boiling Pot, Moondoggies and Charlotte Plummers. Time it right and you can watch the oyster boats unload their catch.
